Honoring a Legacy, Investing in the Future.
The Elease Investment Fund is a family-run, private LLC dedicated to empowering the great-grandchildren of Elease Cornelius through strategic, long-term investments.
Our Guiding Purpose
Our goal is simple: to improve the skills, talents, and educational opportunities for the next generation. We are planting the seeds for their success, allowing us to benefit from seeing them thrive while honoring the memory of our beloved Elease.
The Impact of Support
When a child has access to dedicated training and an active community cheering them on, their potential is unlocked. This is not just about funding; it's about building a framework for success that pays dividends for a lifetime.
of youth athletes attribute their enjoyment and continuation in sports to positive support from family and community members.
Children with access to specialized training are more than twice as likely to reach elite levels in their chosen sport or activity.
Our Philosophy in Their Words
"The best thing a parent or a community can do is give a child a chance to explore their passions. You're not just funding an activity, you're building character, discipline, and resilience that will serve them long after they leave the field."
- Youth Sports Coach
"A child's belief in themselves is a mirror reflecting the belief of those around them. Consistent support from a family and community network is the single most important factor in a child's confidence and willingness to take on challenges."
- Child Development Expert
The Elease Framework
Our fund operates on a clear set of rules designed for fairness, transparency, and collective success. Click each rule to expand.
Membership
- Initial Buy-In: A one-time $50 contribution is required to become a member.
- Contributions: Members must contribute any amount monthly to grow the fund.
- Ownership: All members hold an even, equal percentage of ownership, regardless of contribution amount.
- Exit: Members cannot withdraw their investment. If a member exits or passes away, their ownership is distributed equally among remaining members.
Governance
The Principal:
- Suggests and manages all investment algorithms.
- Elected yearly by a majority member vote. Breaks all tie votes on strategy.
- Receives no compensation.
The High Council:
- Comprised of 4 members, nominated by the membership and approved by a 51% vote.
- Council members must be direct descendants of Elease.
- Approves all fund disbursements with a 3/4 majority vote.
Disbursements
- Request Process: Requests under $250 require an invoice/receipt. Requests over $250 need a formal submission and 2 weeks for approval.
- Accountability: A receipt must be provided after disbursement. Failure to do so results in a one-year revocation of request privileges.

The Return on Our Investment
This is more than a financial strategy; it's an investment in family. It's about being there to cheer their names at graduations and rooting for them from the stands at their games. It's about building a legacy of support... (and maybe scoring free NFL, NBA, or Wimbledon tickets if we're lucky 🤞).
Our Investment Engine
We employ a disciplined, multi-stage process to identify high-probability trading setups. Our performance is benchmarked against the S&P 500.
Step 1: Core Investment Strategy
Our approach is built on a foundation of long-term, steady accumulation, with a smaller, tactical portion dedicated to capturing short-term growth.
90%
Long-Term Foundation
The vast majority of capital is dedicated to a consistent, automated monthly buying strategy. We purchase established assets and hold them, leveraging the power of dollar-cost averaging and long-term market growth. There are no sells in this portfolio, only accumulation.

10%
Active Trading Allocation
A small, tactical portion of the fund is set aside for active trading. This capital will power our automated bot, executing the high-probability setups identified by the Bessie 0.2 model.
Activation Threshold
The trading bot will remain dormant until this 10% allocation reaches a value of $250. This ensures we have sufficient capital for the strategy to be effective.
Step 2: A Lesson on the "Bessie 0.2" Model
Our trading bot doesn't guess. It waits for three different signals to line up perfectly, like finding a key that needs three matching teeth to work. This is called "confluence." Let's break down each signal in simple terms.
Pillar 1: Staying Inside the Lines (Bollinger Bands)
The Simple Idea: Imagine a stock's price is a kid playing in a bouncy castle. The top and bottom of the castle are the "Bollinger Bands." The kid usually stays inside, bouncing around the middle. It's rare for them to touch the very top or very bottom wall.
What We Look For: We watch for the moment the kid (the price) gets over-excited and jumps so high they hit the top wall (overbought) or fall and hit the bottom wall (oversold). When this happens, it's very likely they will get tired and bounce back towards the middle. That's our first clue!
Pillar 2: The Two Runners (MACD)
The Simple Idea: Imagine two runners on a track representing the stock's recent speed—one is the short-term average (fast runner) and one is the long-term average (slow runner). The MACD indicator simply measures the distance between them.
What We Look For: We're looking for a disagreement, or "divergence." This happens when the stock price itself makes a new low, but the distance between our two runners makes a *higher* low. It's a secret message that the downward trend is running out of breath, even if the price doesn't show it yet. This is our second, very important clue.
Pillar 3: The Car's Speedometer (ROC)
The Simple Idea: Think of the Rate of Change (ROC) indicator as a car's speedometer. It doesn't tell you where the car is, just how fast it's going right now.
What We Look For: This is our final check. We look for the same disagreement we saw with the runners. The stock price makes a new low, but the speedometer (the ROC) didn't drop as fast as it did before. It's like the car is still rolling downhill, but the driver took their foot off the gas. This confirms the downward momentum is fading and gives us the green light.
Step 3: The Trade Advice
When confluence from all three pillars is confirmed, the system has identified a setup. The Python script then generates a "Trade Advice" object. This is a precise set of instructions sent to the Alpaca trading bot, ensuring disciplined, emotion-free execution.

Capital Allocation & Growth
Our fund operates in two distinct phases to balance aggressive growth with our mission of providing support. The allocation of capital shifts depending on the current phase.
The Two Fund Phases
1. Fundraising Period (Years 1-5)
During this initial phase, our sole focus is on maximizing capital growth. All contributions are put to work in the market.
2. Disbursement Period
Once established, the fund shifts to a dual focus: continued growth and funding our mission. A portion of capital is held for disbursements.
Quarterly Profit Allocation
During the Disbursement Period, profits are strategically divided each quarter to fuel both future growth and immediate needs.
Total Quarterly Profits:
Our Commitment to Transparency
Handling Downturns
If the fund experiences two consecutive negative quarters, members can vote to cease disbursements for the year and change the Principal. This action requires a final 3/4 majority approval from the High Council to ensure stability.
Tax & Reporting
Elease, LLC is a pass-through entity. To simplify tax burdens, the fund will pay for professional tax advice for all members to ensure gains and losses are reported correctly on their personal returns.
Online Portal
All members will have access to a secure online portal. This portal will provide real-time results, house important documents, and be the center for all member voting on new strategies and leadership.
